The mission of the United High School library in Laredo, Texas, is to ensure that all students, teachers, administrators, and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This goal is achieved by providing both intellectual and physical access to resources in all formats. Furthermore, the library program aims to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading and research, while collaborating with educators to integrate information literacy skills into learning experiences for all students
